Transportation will not be provided to the ceremony venue, so please arrange your own way there.
However, we will provide transportation from the dinner/party venue back to accommodations within Budapest or nearby towns.
For guests staying outside the city, this is subject to prior request and available capacity, please let us know in advance so we can coordinate accordingly.
Do I need a visa to enter the country?
Guests traveling from within the Schengen zone or holding an EU passport do not need a visa to enter Hungary.
Other guests are kindly asked to check the visa requirements based on their passport on the official Hungarian government website: 👉 https://konzinfo.mfa.gov.hu/en/visa
If you are applying from Indonesia, please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for visa processing. For other countries, please check with the local Hungarian embassy or reach out to Lilla directly, she’ll be happy to help you find the right information.
What is the recommended arrival and departure date?
The wedding will take place on 13 September, but we’re planning a small gathering the day before (12 September) for those who arrive earlier (time and place comes later).
For guests traveling from farther away, especially overseas, we recommend arriving a few days earlier to adjust to the time difference and jetlag comfortably.
Budapest is a beautiful city worth exploring: 3 to 4 days is ideal to see the highlights, enjoy the stunning architecture, taste the local gastronomy, and soak in the atmosphere. Feel free to make a mini holiday out of it!
